The project “Youth Empower” seeks to bridge the gap between education and the job market, providing practical skills, mentorship, and opportunities for youth to actively engage in employment and entrepreneurship, thereby contributing to broader community development efforts and fostering sustainable socio-economic growth.
Overall Objective
Equip Young Individuals with Vital Skills and Knowledge
Overall objective of the proposed action is to equip young individuals with vital vocational skills, knowledge and prospects, fostering their ability to actively engage in employment, self-employment and social entrepreneurship pursuits.
SO1 – To introduce new approaches and cooperation between the public, private and SCO’s sectors in order to support youth in development of skills for employability.
SO2 – To enhance the capabilities and expertise of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Vocational Educations and Training (VET) institutions engaged in youth development, equipping them to provide tailored skill sets, including vocational, entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurial skills.
SO3 – To bolster the growth of youth entrepreneurship, craftsmanship and social innovation through targeted support mechanisms, thereby promoting sustainable socio-economic progress and strengthening the role of youth in the broader community development efforts.
PILOT INCUBATOR
VET Youth Success Hub: Navigating VET, Employment, and Social Entrepreneurship
This hub, under the Chamber of Craft Skopje, will enhance capacity-building and policy-making in vocational education and training, employment, self-employment, and social entrepreneurship. The incubator is designed for long-term sustainability, ensuring its impact endures beyond the project. It will serve as a central hub for skill development, ideas and policy influence in the VET sector.
